Innovation Challenge Entry - Open Division

Entry fee for the Open division of the Cortez Makerspace Innovation Challenge (entries August 3 - September 6, 2026). First prize: $5,000 plus a full year of makerspace membership.
Every entry includes exhibition in the online gallery, a professional photo by our media team, and awards-night floor space for finalists (a booth at the awards night).
Supplies are not included: entrants provide their own materials. One entry per maker or team. After checkout, our team contacts you for your project details (maker or team name, category, project description).
Per the Official Rules on fundamentalneeds.net/challenge-1-1-1, the $5,000 Open prize is the purchase price of the winning work, which becomes the treasure of Part Two. Fundamental Needs Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; proceeds fund youth workforce training at the Cortez Makerspace.
